I’ve become a true book wurm since last summer. In my previous post last week I told you about a must-read contemporary romance series ‘Gabriels’ inferno’ and ‘Gabriels’ Rapture, both written by Sylvain Reynard. Read more about my review here. I’ve noticed that since Fifty Shades many women started reading but that they all end up in a post-fifty-shades-dip and that they doubt to find a new book that will consume them as much. My advice: get on Goodreads and meet your next favourite book (Can’t say it enough, really). Or just follow my blog and I’ll provide you with some must-reads! :)

The book I want to recommend today is ‘On Dublin Street’ by Samantha Young.

All she wants is the present. But tomorrow is waiting…

Jocelyn Butler has been hiding from her past for years. But all her secrets are about to be laid bare…
Four years ago, Jocelyn left her tragic past behind in the States and started over in Scotland, burying her grief, ignoring her demons, and forging ahead without attachments. Her solitary life is working well—until she moves into a new apartment on Dublin Street where she meets a man who shakes her carefully guarded world to its core.
Braden Carmichael is used to getting what he wants, and he’s determined to get Jocelyn into his bed. Knowing how skittish she is about entering a relationship, Braden proposes an arrangement that will satisfy their intense attraction without any strings attached.
But after an intrigued Jocelyn accepts, she realizes that Braden won’t be satisfied with just mind-blowing passion. The stubborn Scotsman is intent on truly knowing her… down to the very soul.
This book was recommended by a few people I follow on Goodreads and I’m really glad I tried it. It features a very dominant hero who likes to talk dirty (we all like that right), with a heroine who is struggling to accept her tragic past. She closes herself off to everyone around her, and although the hero is overprotective, he gives her space to work out her issues. This is a really sexy book and I loved the heroine’s journey to find herself and grow strong. Loved how Samantha Young took us through this journey. I. Want. More!
