In a previous post I told you about the ING Orange Store, a pop-up store in collaboration with Flair, that is opened during the Belgian sales period with as goal to make people more aware of the power of saving money.
Next to the contest where you can win orange items by guessing how long Laura (fictional person) has to save for it, there was a second contest launched. ING wanted to put some extra glamour to the Orange Store by inviting Antwerp/LA’s finest: Astrid Bryan.
Note to my international readers: Astrid Bryan is a Flemish celebrity who became famous when she made her appearance in a reality show of Flemisch Hollywood wives. Because of the success, she now has her own reality show: ‘Astrid in Wonderland’ that is up to its third season.
What was this second contest about? If you knew how long you had to save up to buy Astrid her shoes, you got invited to a meet and greet in the ING Orange Store. If you didn’t win, you still could show up dressed in orange and get selected by Astrid to come in.
The drink was quite glamorous. Astrid put her typical Astrid-in-wonderland-positive vibe on the evening (Unfortunately she didn’t take her cute brother with her ) and she is really nice and loves to chat. I talked to her for a while, because as a fashion blogger I had to know what she was wearing right? So for you to know: her sweater-dress was Dolce & Gabbana, her leggings and bag were both Balenciaga. She was really fond of her boots, the Hunter high heels. I think those may hit it off big time in Belgium. I’m curious if I’ll spot them in the next few months.
I loved how everything was arranged by ING and Square Melon. Everything had a hint of orange, from the Veuve Clicquot to the fancy bites that were served. And yes, the details matter.. don’t they?
Here you can see some pictures of last night. Do you like Astrid Bryan her outfit?
